1. Who we are and agreeing to these terms
2scale is a product of NiNaanu Ventures, a sole proprietorship based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("NiNaanu Ventures", "we", "us"). These terms are a contract between you and NiNaanu Ventures. By installing or using 2scale you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
2. What 2scale does
- File check: a list of the documents a property file of your type is expected to contain, based on your answers, with what each missing item can hold up and how to get it.
- Document check and AI reading: an on-device check of a document, and an optional AI reading that says what the document states, what earlier documents it refers to, and what appears missing or inconsistent.
- Drafts and templates: rental agreement drafts and other document templates you fill in yourself.
- Cost, tax and TDS calculators, reminders, guides, rent law summaries, a transaction tracker, a rental manager, a document vault, area information and an AI assistant for general questions.
3. What 2scale is not
- 2scale does not confirm that a document is genuine, that a title is clear or marketable, or who owns a property. It cannot see government records.
- 2scale is not a lawyer, chartered accountant, broker, valuer, stamp vendor or registration agent, and nothing in it is legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Using 2scale does not create a lawyer-client or any other professional relationship.
- Drafts and templates are starting points for reference only. They are not stamped, signed, registered or reviewed by a lawyer, and they may not suit your situation. You decide what to sign.
- 2scale does not guarantee that a bank, buyer, sub-registrar, Rent Authority or any other authority will accept your documents.
Get a qualified professional's advice before any purchase, sale, loan, lease, registration or legal step, and confirm rates, fees and requirements on the official portal on the day you act.
4. Accuracy and dates
Property and rent rules, fees and portals change often. 2scale shows the date each rule was last checked, shows a confidence level where a figure is uncertain, and flags rules due for review. Guidance values are minimum values for duty, not market prices. Calculators estimate; the amount you actually pay is set by the authority. Area scores and community reports are indicative and can be wrong or out of date. We work to keep content current but do not promise it is complete, accurate or up to date at every moment.
5. AI features
AI readings and answers are generated by a machine and are not reviewed by a person. They can be incomplete or wrong, including about names, numbers and dates. Always check them against the original document. An AI reading uses one credit when it completes, even if the result is not useful to you. Do not send pages showing Aadhaar, PAN or bank account numbers; they are not needed.
6. Your responsibilities
- Only add documents and information you have the right to use.
- If you add another person's details, such as a tenant's or landlord's, you are responsible for having their consent or another lawful basis, and for deleting them when no longer needed.
- Community reports must reflect your own genuine experience and must not be false, defamatory, obscene, commercial, or include anyone's personal details. We may remove any report without notice.
- Do not misuse the app: no scraping, reverse engineering, interfering with its security, bypassing payments, or using it for anything unlawful.
- Keep your phone, app lock and backup passphrase secure. Anyone who can unlock your phone can see what you see in 2scale.
7. Payments
- Document-read packs and the annual plan are sold and billed by Google Play. We never see your card or UPI details.
- Pack credits are stored only on your phone. They are removed by "Delete all data" or uninstalling and cannot be restored, so use them before you do either.
- The annual plan renews automatically unless you cancel in Google Play at least 24 hours before renewal. You can restore an active plan on a new phone from the app.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy, without limiting any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- We may change prices. A change applies to the next purchase or renewal, and active annual subscribers get at least 30 days' notice.
8. Ads and third-party services
The free version shows non-personalised ads from Google AdMob, as described in the Privacy Policy. Ads are not recommendations. We do not accept advertising from builders or developers, and we do not sell leads. A paid plan removes all ads.
2scale links to government portals and uses services run by others (Google Play, Google Drive, Google Cloud AI, Google Maps data, AdMob). Their terms and availability are theirs, not ours, and we are not responsible for their content, errors or downtime.
9. Your data and backups
Your data is stored on your phone, encrypted, and we keep no copy. If you lose your phone, clear the app's data or uninstall without a backup, the data cannot be recovered by you or by us. A Google Drive backup is locked with a passphrase you choose. We never see it and cannot reset it, so if you forget it, the backup cannot be opened by you or by us.
10. Intellectual property
The app, its content, rule sets, checklists, templates, design and code belong to NiNaanu Ventures. You may use them for your own property matters. You keep ownership of anything you add. For community reports, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to show them, in combined and anonymous form, to other users.
11. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, 2scale is provided "as is" and "as available", without any promise that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that any document, property or area is as 2scale describes it.
12. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from a property, legal, tax or financial decision made using the app; from relying on a calculation, draft, template, AI output, rent law summary, area score or community report; from content that turns out to be out of date; from a missed deadline; from data lost from your phone or a forgotten backup passphrase; or from a third-party service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity or goodwill. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
13. Indemnity
If you break these terms, misuse the app, or submit false or unlawful content, and someone makes a claim against us as a result, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs of that claim.
14. Ending use and changes to the app
You can stop using 2scale at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend online features for misuse. We may change, suspend or stop any feature; if we stop a paid feature you have paid for and not used, we will offer a fair remedy.
15. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of Google or government portals, changes in law, network failures and natural events.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first so we can try to fix the problem. Subject to that, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not stop you from approaching a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
17. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about 2scale. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor of the business, and will tell you if we do.

19. Changes to these terms
We will update the version and date above when these terms change and show the change in the app. If you keep using 2scale after a change, the new terms apply from then on.
