2scale is a property intelligence and organisation application designed to help users in India understand property information, store property documents privately, track tax deadlines, and access general property guidance.
By downloading, installing, or using 2scale, you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2.2 What 2scale does not provide
- Legal advice of any kind
- Title verification or ownership confirmation
- Guarantee of document authenticity
- Certified property valuations
- Investment advice or financial recommendations
- Real estate brokerage services
- Government-certified information
Nothing in 2scale constitutes legal advice, financial advice, investment advice, or a substitute for professional property, legal, or financial consultation.
3. Not Legal Advice
3.1 General disclaimer
All content in 2scale — including scores, data, guides, AI responses, calculators, and community insights — is for general informational purposes only. It is not legal advice and must not be treated as such.
3.2 Professional consultation required
Before making any property purchase, sale, registration, legal, or financial decision, you must consult:
- A registered property lawyer
- A licensed real estate agent
- A certified financial advisor or chartered accountant
- The relevant government authority
2scale does not replace any of these professionals.
3.3 No reliance
You must not rely solely on 2scale for any property decision. 2scale expressly disclaims all liability for decisions made based on information provided in the app.
4. Scores, Data, and Accuracy
4.1 Liveability scores
Liveability scores are calculated using publicly available data from Google Places API, researched area data compiled by 2scale, and community-contributed ratings. These scores are indicative only. They are not certified assessments. Low-confidence scores should be treated as rough estimates only.
4.2 Community-generated scores
Areas with 20 or more community contributions receive an automatically generated liveability score. These are clearly labeled "Community generated" and carry additional uncertainty.
4.3 Community insights
Community area insights are contributed voluntarily by users. 2scale does not verify the accuracy of community submissions. Ratings, price ranges, and comments represent individual user opinions, not verified facts.
4.4 Property document checklist
The document checklist reflects only documents you have personally uploaded. 2scale does not verify document authenticity under any circumstances.
4.5 Tax estimates
Property tax estimates use publicly available government rate formulas. Actual liability may differ. Always verify on the official government portal before payment.
4.6 Stamp duty calculations
Stamp duty calculations are based on published rates as of the stated date. Rates change periodically. Always verify current rates at the official government portal before any property registration.
5. Document Storage and Processing
5.1 Local storage
All documents you upload are stored exclusively on your device. 2scale does not upload, transmit, or store your documents on any external server.
5.2 AI document analysis
When you use AI document analysis, extracted text is sent to Google's Gemini API. The original file is never transmitted. Google's privacy policy governs Gemini processing. AI-extracted information is approximate and must be verified against the original document.
5.3 Document security
Documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. The encryption key is stored in your device's secure hardware keystore. 2scale is not responsible for document access resulting from device theft, loss, or compromise.
5.4 Data loss
Uninstalling 2scale permanently deletes all app data, including documents. This cannot be recovered by 2scale or by you. Back up important documents independently.
6. 2scale AI
6.1 Nature of AI responses
2scale AI responses are generated by Google's Gemini AI model. They are not reviewed by legal or property professionals, may contain errors or outdated information, and are for general informational purposes only — not legal, financial, or professional property advice.
6.2 What is sent to Google
When you use 2scale AI, only your question text is sent to Google's Gemini API. No personal data, property details, document contents, or personally identifiable information is transmitted.
6.3 Limitations
2scale AI cannot verify property ownership, confirm document authenticity, provide legal opinions, or give investment advice. For complex legal or financial property matters, always consult a registered professional.
6.4 AI availability
2scale AI requires an internet connection and is subject to availability of the Google Gemini API. 2scale is not liable for AI unavailability or service interruptions.
7. Community Data
7.1 Community contributions
By submitting community data, you confirm that the information is based on your genuine experience, is not false or misleading, and is not submitted on behalf of a commercial entity.
7.2 What is submitted
Community submissions contain: area name, city, ratings (1–5 scale), flood risk indicator, price range, and an optional comment. No personal data, device identifier, or user identity is submitted.
7.3 Data use
Submitted community data is stored on 2scale's Firebase servers, aggregated with other submissions, and distributed to all 2scale users as part of the weekly community data update. By submitting, you agree to this use.
7.4 Content standards
Community submissions must not contain defamatory, false, or misleading statements; hate speech or discriminatory content; commercial promotion; or personal information about individuals. 2scale reserves the right to remove submissions that violate these standards.
8. Property Guides
Property guides describe general processes for common property tasks in Karnataka, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu. They are for general educational purposes only, may not reflect the most current government procedures, and are not a substitute for advice from a registered property lawyer. Always verify current requirements with the relevant government authority.
9. Tax Reminders
Tax reminders are convenience tools only. You are solely responsible for paying all property taxes on time and verifying due dates on official government portals. Notification delivery depends on your device settings. Do not rely solely on 2scale reminders for tax compliance.
10. Builder Advertisements
2scale displays advertisements from property builders and developers. These are paid placements and are not endorsements by 2scale. 2scale is not responsible for the accuracy of builder advertisements, project details, pricing, or availability. Always conduct independent due diligence before engaging with any advertised property project.
Google AdMob advertisements may also appear in the free version of 2scale, governed by Google's advertising policies.
11. Privacy and Data
11.1 Personal data storage
All personal data — including your name, saved properties, documents, reminders, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device. 2scale has no access to this data.

No other data ever leaves your device.
11.3 No personal data on servers
2scale does not maintain a user database. We do not store your name, phone number, email address, property details, documents, or any personally identifiable information on any server.

12. Subscriptions and Payments
12.1 Payment processing
2scale AI subscriptions are billed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store. 2scale does not process payments directly and does not store payment information.
12.2 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Google Play or Apple App Store account.
12.3 Refunds
2scale does not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods. Refund requests must be submitted through the respective app store.
12.4 Pricing changes
2scale reserves the right to change subscription pricing. Active subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.
12.5 Free tier
The free version of 2scale includes limited AI queries. Free query allowances are lifetime limits unless otherwise specified and do not roll over.
13. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, scoring methodologies, and features in 2scale are the intellectual property of the 2scale app owner. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from 2scale content without written permission.
User-contributed community data remains the property of the contributor. By contributing, you grant 2scale a perpetual, royalty-free licence to aggregate, display, and distribute that data within the app.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 2scale and its operators are not liable for:
- Any property purchase, sale, or investment decision made based on information in the app
- Any financial loss arising from reliance on scores, calculators, or estimates
- Any legal dispute arising from property transactions
- Data loss from app crashes, device failure, or uninstallation
- Missed tax deadlines or penalties resulting from notification failure
- Inaccuracy of community-contributed data
- Actions taken based on AI responses
- Any loss or damage arising from use of 2scale
Your use of 2scale is entirely at your own risk.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 2scale and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app in violation of these terms, false or misleading community data you submit, or any property decisions you make based on app information.
16. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of 2scale shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka. Parties agree to attempt resolution through arbitration before pursuing litigation.
17. Changes to Terms
2scale may update these terms periodically. When terms are updated, the version number and effective date will change, and existing users will see the updated terms on next app open. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
